Factory reset not working
Beko WMB714422 start/stop/pause button is just flashing and holding it down for at least the prescribed time (3sec) or longer is not resetting as suggested. Also turning off at the power does not help either. The timer display shows either 00:00 or 00:50 and the ‘e ‘ and only when on daily quick prog are any of the spin speed or temperature displays showing anything. Any thought people please

This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Beko WMB714422 flashing start/stop/pause and not resetting
- The problem
- Beko WMB714422 washing machine would not reset using the start/stop/pause button or by switching the power off. The start/stop/pause button was flashing, the timer showed either 00:00 or 00:50 with an 'e' display, and only the Daily Quick programme showed any spin speed or temperature indications.
- Likely cause
- The accepted reply suggested a possible connection problem or a fault on the control board/main PCB. A wall socket voltage issue was mentioned as a less likely possibility.
- What fixed it
- The accepted advice was to try the machine from a different wall socket as a basic check. If the fault remained, the discussion indicated this was difficult to diagnose and repair as a DIY job, with a risk of replacing expensive parts without curing the fault. Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.
- Checks to try
- Tried holding the start/stop/pause button for at least 3 seconds and longer without reset
- Tried turning the machine off at the power without improvement
- Suggested trying a totally different wall socket
Safety: Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

Possible connection problem or fault on control board or main pcb. Try a totally different wall socket in case there's a voltage issue but that's a long shot. Difficult fault to diy fix and fair chance of buying expensive parts that don't fix it unfortunately.
