Hoover Otsein Next 3650T/1-37 error E03
Hi all !!!
I have a Hoover-Otsein mod. NEXT 3650T/1-37 When I run a washing program, whatever it is, 90% of the time I get the error E03. I checked the drain pump and hoses and are all OK. The other 10% ends normally. The small pressure switch tube has no water inside.
Any help will be appreciated.

This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Hoover Otsein NEXT 3650T/1-37 intermittent E03 likely linked to pressure system
- The problem
- Hoover Otsein NEXT 3650T/1-37 showed error E03 on most wash programmes about 90% of the time, though it occasionally completed normally. The drain pump and hoses were reported as OK, and the small pressure switch tube was found dry.
- Likely cause
- The strongest diagnosis in the discussion is a blockage in the pressure system, particularly the small pressure chamber/bottle at the bottom of the thin pressure tube, causing the machine to wrongly report that water is still present. A heater fault to earth was also suggested by another reply, but this was not supported by any confirming tests or outcome.
- What fixed it
- Recommended action was to inspect and clear the pressure system, especially the pressure chamber/bottle and thin tube, as there should only be air in that hose. No confirmed repair outcome was posted. If the fault persists, further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.
- Checks to try
- Drain pump checked
- Drain hoses checked
- Pressure switch tube checked and found to contain no water
Safety: Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

If the error code E3 refers to not draining water, but the pump is definitely pumping out OK, then it could be the pressure system wrongly reporting that the machine is full of water when it isn't. This can be caused by blockages in the pressure system. There shouldn't be water inside the pressure system hose - only air.
What happens is that gunge insde the small pressure system bottle at the bottom of the thin tube can get gunged up, which prevents water getting inside. This subsequently prevents the water from forcing air up to the pressure switch.

Usually it is a pump blockage BUT e03 can actually be a wash heater that has gone to earth but does not take out the house trip.
Get the machine to go wrong. Then reset the programme on spin / drain, if it then pumps out and spins as usual and E03 then crops up next time you use the machine change the wash heater based on your model number AND the 8 numbers beginning with 31 as read off the sticky label. DO NOT fit any old heater as Hoover and Candy have a deep rubber heater boss whereas most others have a short one, mess up and that wrong heater vibrates out of the tank with disasterous moist results with 3 plastic ducks floating in a utility room/kitchen!!!
