Lg Drain Filter Problem

I have a new LG machine and during a recent cycle I noticed that the machine started final spin whilst there was still water in the machine. I checked the drain filter which was full of water. I ran another (different) cycle and that went OK. However, when I checked the filter it was again full of clear water. The little drain hose had no water in it all. I could find no problem with the 'propeller' thing in the filter. Not sure whether I should call out LG engineer or if it's something I've done wrong. Can anyone advise?

It depends how much water you mean when you say full of water. It's normal for there to be at least a couple of mugs full of water in the pump filter. If the washer is finishing the programme ok and the clothes are clean and spun I would assume it's ok.

Thank you for taking the trouble to update us. I hate it when people ask questions but then seem to disappear leaving an unfinished thread.

Yes. I am getting just over a pint of water from the filter when I drain it. Also I discovered that I wasn't pulling the little hose out to its full extent so it wasn't draining properly. All seems OK now.

Many thanks for your help
