This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Samsung B1445 washing machine door stuck shut after internal part dropped
- The problem
- On a Samsung B1445 washing machine, the door would not open after the user heard something drop inside. The door then felt as if the springs had gone, leaving damp laundry trapped inside.
- Likely cause
- A jammed or failed door interlock was the main diagnosis suggested. The report of something dropping inside also supports that a lock or door mechanism component may have come loose, but the exact failed part was not confirmed.
- What fixed it
- The accepted advice was to avoid forcing the door and have the machine inspected by an engineer, as forcing it could cause further damage and delay repair if parts are then needed. It was noted that access would involve removing the top with the machine disconnected from the electricity supply and then checking the door interlock, but the exact repair was not confirmed.
- Checks to try
- User reported hearing something drop inside before the door stopped opening
- Door felt like the springs had completely gone
- Accepted reply identified the door interlock as the area to inspect
Safety: Do not force the door open. Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

I would get an engineer to look at it. The laundry is unlikely to suffer any harm if left in although I appreciate certain items may be particularly delicate or even required for urgent use. The trouble is you may damage something further by forcing the door. I've seen it done many times. An engineer may subsequently need to order parts causing a delay, where he may have been able to open it without further damage.
Ignoring all that, if you simply have to get it open then if you can guarantee the machine is disconnected from the electricity supply the top would need to come off and attention paid to the door interlock. If the interlock is jammed, the screws to undo it are at the other side of the door, which you can't get to without opening the door so if it can't be manipulated open it will have to be forced open somehow doing as little damage as possible.
