Can anyone help? I put a load of washing on and when I went to unload the machine at what i expected to be the end of its cycle I found the machine had stopped before completion. I pushed the start button again and since then the machine is constantly filling with water even on the spin programme. I have tried the cancel button to reset the machine to rule out any programming error to no avail. What could the problem be?

It could be quite a few things really. You need an engineer I'm afraid for something like that. It could be anything from an earth leakage on a component, to it thinking it's overheating (faulty NTC) or the main pcb and so on..
