I bought a second hand washing machine 2 days ago. Do you need the 2 fill hoses connected to hot and the cold pipes? I only have a cold water supply so there is no water supplied to the hot water valve. The washing machine works on all the programs except i am having problems on the 95 degree wash to do my shirts. I set the programme going and no water comes out all the other programs are working ok

I've been told i need to turn on the hot water one on but the lady i got it off said it works with just the cold water one can any one give me any feed back please its doing my head in.

Hi, if you only have a cold water supply connected to a hot and cold fill washing machine then most wash cycles will work - but not all because some cycles are hot fill only (mostly the boil (or 90 degree) wash).

This article describes how to deal with the problem of only having a cold water supply for a hot and cold fill washing machine - Washing machine is a hot and cold fill, but I only have a cold water supply
