New Module Pcb Looks Different

Ok, I have read the general blurb on why the drum won't spin. My machine has had a new motor and a new Module. I also changed the PCB display with a 2nd hand one, and it still will not turn.

The belt is ok and the pump and water fills throughout the cycles and drains in all the right places.

The door locks during cycles and opens at the end.

I have done everything possible for me to do that has been mentioned online. Please help me!!!

The Module I bought as a replacement was made a year later and differers slightly in that it only has 1 capacitor in the bottom left-hand corner and mine had 2. Also, the resistors are a different colour and fatter. The model number is the same etc,. Do you think this card is the problem?

Any differences in design on the module should be insignificant as long as it's the right module for your machine, that's the question. The circuitry on modules can be constantly redesigned but if it's meant for your machine it should fit perfectly with all the same connections. Assuming all the parts you replaced were good, and the right ones it really only leaves connection problems in the wiring harness, motor plug and module connections as the main suspects.
