Washer Wont Fill - Error F05
I have a hotpoint ultima washer which was displaying a F05 error. I cleaned the filter out (found 29p) and the pump is now working again but now it wont fill or spin and ticks off the minutes of a cycle. Any help woud be much appreciated!

Error F05 means the pressure switch has "jammed" on preventing the signal that the water has pumped away successfully. This can be caused by a pump blockage, but if so, it should have a lot of water in.
If the water pumps away OK, but you still get this error then it's not a pump blockage, it's a fault elsewhere. Suspects are the pressure switch itself is jammed, (i.e. the switch is stuck), or it's jammed on because a blockage in the pressure chamber bottle at the bottom of the thin tube which is connected to it is holding air pressure keeping the pressure switch on. Could even be connection issues or pcb issues but pressure system issues is most likely. Theres a lot on pressure systems in these forums if you search all forums for "pressure system".
