Indesit Wa155 - Programme Selector Not Indexing To Selection
Hello, My Indesit WA155 programme selector turns but does not click/ratchet into the various positions but it does seem to be selecting the appropriate programmes and I get the rapid flashes when it is switched on in the various positions. It then seems to move around as the cycle progresses, but just doesn't click into them.
I assume the mechanism is just worn but it went suddenly which doesn't really follow - any ideas?

It's strange, but it were me I'd leave it and keep fingers crossed it keeps working. I would imagine that's what the vast majority of people would do.

Yes, but there is no resistance on the controller (doesn't index into position).
