Miele Washing Machine, Too Much Water Poured Through Drawer
Hi,
My Miele W5824 washing machine is saying "Technical fault" and beeping a lot.
I had almost run out of washing machine soap, so I put a lot of water into the nearly-empty bottle of soap, put the lid on, shook the bottle, and then poured the water into the washing machine drawer. I did this twice, assuming that the water would just pour right on into the drum. However, when I started the wash, the error showed and the washing machine will not run now.
I wondered if you might have any idea of what I should do? The book just says call an engineer, but I can't because it's Sunday.
Thanks,
Jsp

Unfortunately the "technical fault" error Miele provide is useless. If it's been caused by your actions the only cause I can think of is if it has made too many soap suds. Is the drum full of soap suds? Water going into the soap drawer can only go into the drum.

We have been investigating more, and if we try to run the a spin cycle it drains and the display goes to "spin", then it beeps and says "technical fault" and the drum never turns. Does that mean that some water has got into the electrics?
