It sounds like a notification that there's no water getting into machine, try this washing machine won’t fill with water

Hello Millie, sorry for such a late reply. Did you get this sorted? If the washing machine worked okay at the old house and worked okay until it was plumbed in at the new house then the suspicion is something is not quite right with the plumbing. Another possibility though is something happened during transit.

Hi

I have recently purchased a Beko WMB71231B washing machine.

I had the same machine in my other house (just moved into this one) and had no problems with it.

Had my kitchen done in this kitchen and the machine was plumbed in by a plumber on 1May 2015.

He did not test it.....just plumbed it in. I use it yesterday the 2 May 2015 and it just is not working the same. I always use the "time saver" option for darks. The programme for this is 28 minutes long. I have watched the programme and it is not good. The following is happening:

* the programme goes from say 27 minutes to 26 minutes then back up to 27 minutes and periodically does this throughout the wash.

* it is not taking the fabric softener during the wash

* when the program ends ( and to be fair it seems to take longer than 28 minutes) it continues to let in water so I have to turn the tap off at the back of machine and put it on spin and get the water out that way. The tap is still off at the back as I am frightened I will be flooded.

I rang the engineers and they are going to call me with a time and date to come have a look.

As a woman on my own, I don't want to be told by the engineer when he comes, it's the way I'm using it because I have had this same make and model before so I know how it should work.

Can someone give me some advice please. Thankyou in advance
