Ise10 Not Heating

Our ISE10 has not been heating for at least a year now.

While I've enjoyed the cheap washing and the results have often been excellent there are a few occasions where 60C is needed.

With the mess around ISE warranty I suspect I have to fix it myself.

Does anyone have any tips on fixing a non-heating ise10?

thanks

It should be the same as for all washing machines, this article gives the basic help advice - heater not working on washing machine

Hello pj73,

we are still washing cold because I have been too "cheap" to call an engineer.

I am waiting "a while" to see whether the warranty issue is resolved. I still have 6 years of warranty (!) remaining.

If not I suspect it's the thermostat and will get a local engineer to have a poke at it.

fellow cold cycle washer,

David

Davotoula did you ever find out what your issue was in relation to the water not heating? We have the same issue and have had this problem before - which turned out to be a problem with the thermostat - that the engineer fixed (when the warranty was valid).Like you - we re impressed with the effectiveness of the cold wash - and only noticed the problem when I wanted to use the hot wash for bath towels. When we have a free weekend we are going to troubleshoot it :-)

No washing machine doesn't heat up the water no matter what the temperature of incoming water is. If the heater isn't working use the link I posted to troubleshoot it or get an engineer to look at it.

Thank you for the prompt answer.

I put the ISE10 on a 95C programme (2:05 hours) and was draining a little water every 10 minutes to check the temperature of the water.

It was constantly ice cold as if straight from cold water inlet.

No error codes, no extensive wash duration, just no heating of water.

Maybe the ISE10 is supposed to be connected to hot water inlet as well?
