hi my beko wmb61431s washing machine is playing up it has stopped spinning and after about 20 minutes the machine automatically displays end .

i have tried holding the the start button for 3-10 seconds to do a factory reset but it still happens.

last night it started making a buzzing sound in the bottom draw where things may get caught and the little fan is so i was playing around with it this morning to see what the buzzing was but i think i may have messed the programs up.

it still spun last night and it did this morning before i was playing around with it.

i thought it may be due t ome not haveing any washing in it but i have tried withwashing in

what is does now-

1 turns on

2.lets me turn the dial to select program

3 locks door

4. puts water in draw

5. puts end on display after around 20 minutes

i have had to empty the water out though the over flow pipe a few times to see if it was weighed down to much.

i had checked the warrnty but it ran out in january this year so it over 3 years old now .

i,m not sure if the lights on my machine blink to report a error code or not if a little video is required of the possablilte that it blinks a error code i may be able to supply one if is required

It sounds like the main problem is that it cannot drain the water properly. A buzzing noise near the pump filter could indicate a jammed pump impeller. If it was another fault the washing machine would abort but it would drain the water out. If it isn't draining all the water out properly on its own checkout this article washing machine won’t drain

If the brushes in the motor are worn they can cause sparking but usually the main symptom is simply that the motor stops running. If your motor had stopped running then the humming noise that I speculated might've been a jammed pump when I was assuming the motor was running okay must have just been the pump running on its own. I'm glad you sorted it.

It was the brushs in the motor which (i think) i have now replaced them as they where all black and sooty i didnt think it might have been that due to a lack of sparking under the washing machine so i fitted new brush,s and and all works fine.

Thank,s for the reply

it,s the first time i have replaced brushs on a washing machine saved me a few quid my partner was already shopping around for a new one .
