Beko Wm611Nw - Washing Machine Tries To Start, But Cuts Out And Repeats.

I overloaded the machine, and they washed fine, but during the spin cycle the machine cuts out after a few seconds. It starts up after three or so minutes, but cuts out again without completing any program and it keeps doing this until I turn the machine off.

It will fill with water during the wash cycle however, but it will cut out and won't drain. I have to drain it myself.

The machine is only two years old so I'm not entirely sure what the problem may be.

There is a funny sound it makes, it sounds like the spin cycle is starting up, but then stalls and cuts out.

Any help would be appreiciated, thanks.

If there is a bad load in the machine (either underloaded or overloaded) most washing machines will keep trying to spin but may fail. Some may try for quite a while, stopping and starting, doing a slow spin then stopping, doing a spin but only at slow speed etc. If it's related to this it's all explained here - washer won't spin properly with certain loads in
