It does sound like the machine is aborting the cycle because it isn’t happy with either draining/spinning feedback or the motor side of things. On Beko models, test-mode codes can be a bit model-specific, so I wouldn’t want to guess the exact meaning of F13 without the service sheet. What you’ve described does help narrow it down though.
Before checking anything internal, isolate the washing machine from the mains.
1. Check it is actually draining properly If the pump runs but water isn’t clearing fast enough, the machine may refuse to spin. Check the drain hose for partial blockage, kinks, or being pushed too far down the standpipe. Also check the sump hose from tub to pump for debris.
2. Inspect the motor and carbon brushes If the drum does not turn at all on wash or spin, worn carbon brushes are a very common cause on many Beko machines. Remove the motor and check brush length and whether they are moving freely in the holders.
3. Check the drive belt Make sure the belt is fitted, tight, and the drum pulley turns normally by hand.
4. Check motor wiring and connector block Look for loose, burnt, or corroded connections between motor and main PCB.
5. Check the door lock behaviour The padlock light cycling on/off may indicate the control is repeatedly trying to lock or restart the cycle. Inspect the door interlock wiring and connector.
6. If all above are OK The fault could be with the motor tachometer, door lock, or the main control board.
If you’re not confident with live electrical testing or PCB diagnosis, it’s best to get a qualified appliance engineer in. Any mains-related checks should only be done safely by someone competent.

Safety first — read before actioning advice
Never work on a live appliance
Always unplug it at the mains before going near it with any tools.
Never attempt gas work
By law, gas appliances must only be worked on by a Gas Safe registered engineer. If your fault involves gas, stop and call a professional — do not attempt it yourself.
Watch for sharp edges
Outer panels are smooth, but internal parts are full of sharp machined edges. Wear protective gloves and arm sleeves.
Water appliances can leak
Turn off the water supply before disconnecting any hoses.
Know your limits
If you're not confident testing or working inside the appliance, STOP and call a professional.
