Desperately looking for solutions - express cycle 20 mins ok, spin cycle 7mins ok, automatic plus 89mins stopped halfway. could it be the circuit board? I realised if the washer runs for more than a hour it will shut automatically and it will only start/turn on after few mins resting. Such a pity to dispose a 5yrs washer. any opinions?

It's an unusual symptom. Does it not display an error code? Does it turn off completely, or reset, or just stop mid-cycle? A 5 year old Miele should be worth repairing though some repairs can be very expensive.

If the fault lies with the pcb it would at least explain why no error code. Unfortunately, Miele appliances can be ridiculously expensive to repair. Not good.

My sentiment exactly but what can I do when the technician insisted to replace the PCB. Sucks to have such irresponsible technician if its not the faulty PCB - friction dumper and concertina hose not good btw

It's not forced to be the PCB, potentially not heating the water or some other fault could cause problems. However, it is unusual for no error code to be triggered.

No error code. Its just stop mid cycle and 'll have to restart on and on and on... If it's just express or spin cycle - perfectly okay but more than 60mins it will stop.

Hefty price to replace the pcb equivalent to a new washer. Sigh so dilemma
