Yes the element in the drum is only for wash. Just replacing parts and hoping it will fix the fault can be very expensive and time wasting. Tested it and saw it was overloading that had caused the cutout and so have reset and modified our washing behaviour! Thank you so much, as it's saved us an engineer visit or me trying to replace a heating element!
