Advice please - Siemens filter housing

Hi,

I have a Siemens IQ300 and took out the filter to clean it. I needed to use grips because it was stuck with scale. I can see that the bit that the filter screws into is cracked in two places. It looks like a big washer but it wont come out. The machine now leaks underneath at the front. :-(

Is it possible to buy the housing unit that the filter screws into or is it a whole new pump? I can see plenty of places to buy a new filter to screw in but I need the other part and not sure what it is called!

Trying to work out if the cost will be worth calling someone out or if I should just buy a new machine. It is 5 years old and just out of the guarantee now and working fine until I decided to clean the filter!

Model number :

WM12Q391GB/08

Thanks for any advice.

Lynn

Hi. As far as I know you can only ever buy either a complete pump, or a pump filter and/or pump filter seal.

Back in the day you could buy any part for a pump. Any screw, seal, bolt etc

That’s when they were very well made, but now they are just really cheap plastic and basic.
