Hotpoint washing machine beeping

Hi everyone first post.

Have a Hotpoint washing machine,approximately 3 years old.Not impressed with it to be honest,Clothes don’t seem to be dry enough after main cycle so always have used the spin and drain cycle immediately afterwards to get more water out of them.The problem now is that using this cycle has resulted in a very recent,last two weeks,problem of intermittent beeping during the 10 minute cycle.It doesn’t do it all the time,only happens if you don’t open the door just change the program.Despite the beeping it has always spun fine,it’s just so annoying.Is it a warning sign?
