Beko WTB840E1 unable to remove filter to clear.
Hi
The filter cap on our machine is stuck. Last time this happened it was blocked but could be removed. From looking online and at the articles it seems likely something is stuck in there but there are no front access screws easily accessible to remove the filter so we can't disconnect it to check. They appear to behind the entire front panel of the washing machine which is proving tricky to remove. Please see photo of filter access point. We have turned it on its back to try and access it underneath but can't see how to detach it as screws are clearly holding it in place. Any experience with how to do this with this type of machine?
thank you for any help in advance!!!

Hello there. Yes something could be stuck inside and preventing it from unscrewing. I've had it several times and it's usually been underwires from bras. If it will not unscrew you have to take the sump hose off from inside as described in my article here How to remove washing machine pump filter. There is a section on this article specifically for if the pump filter is stuck.
