Drying Cycle Needs Water WT2780

Currently i have the fault "Fault Water intake Open stopcock" on a pure drying cycle on a washer-dryer Miele WT2780.

This is puzzling for me. Why does it need water on a drying cycle? Is there something more wrong than a blocked water supply?

Hi. Condenser dryers need something cold for the steam to hit and then condense back into water. On a washer dryer this is achieved using a small trickle of cold water running into a condenser chamber.
