Miele Washing Machine Trips Rcd
Hi everyone - I'm new to this forum, I found it really useful when choosing my new washing machine so am desperately hoping someone can help/advise here.
I had a new miele washing machine delivered, first use - rcd tripped, knocking out all the power to all the sockets in the house. Second use - same thing, rcd tripped knocking out all the power to all the sockets in the house.
Miele engineer is coming to "test" machine next week. Has anyone had this experience with their miele machine?

Hello Janice. All Miele washing machines are individually tested at the factory, many manufacturers just do random checks on batches but Miele check each one. Something could have happened to it during transit although even that would be unusual because they are packed so well. It's very unusual for a brand new Miele to be faulty on delivery, unless the p[lug got wet, or the wall socket is faulty all you can do is wait to see what the engineer finds.
