Bosch Exxcel Washer Dryer No Heat On Dryer
I have a Bosch Exxcel WVD2452s washer/dryer which is a few years old.
When i select the dryin program it appears to attempt to dry however no heat is produced. It appears to stop the drying cycle after about 15/16 mins.
I have been told that there is a thermostar reset trip switch which is located behind the cover, however after removing the top and back bulge i cannot appear to find anything to 'reset'
Does this sound like a thermostat or element problem?
Any ideas?

Only a few washer dryers have a resettable toc (thermal overload cut-out). Most have one shot ones that need replacing if they go. If one goes open circuit there's every chance it's gone because of another fault which caused the dryer section to overheat, therefore continuously resetting it not a good idea. However, they can go for no apparent reason just like the fuse in the plug. More often that not though the reason why it tripped (or cut out) needs investigating.
It could be overloaded load, the condenser water solenoid faulty or some other problem stopping cold water running into the condenser chamber on dry. Or a blockage in the condenser chamber preventing water running into the bottom of the tub for draining. Or blocked filters etc.
