Water Leak Where Drain Hose Is Connected To Stand Pipe

I have a Miele Prestige Plus 6 machine, and a small amount of water is escaping at the point where the hose is pushed into the standpipe, the hose has a P attachment on it.

I have put a metal snake down the waste to ensure that it is clear.

Do you have any advice on how to prevent the water from escaping from the top of the stand pipe?

Thank you

I've seen Miele drain hoses with the crook at the end forcing the drain hose into a shepherds hook but with only a small amount of the end of the drain hose being pushed into the stand pipe allowing water to spurt out when the washer is pumping out. Make sure the end of the drain hose is pushed into the standpipe at least several inches but no more.

If it already is in properly and water is coming out of the top of the standpipe then listen out for the noise it makes when draining. If you can hear the water gushing through the pipes but after a few seconds or so the noise changes to the sound of a vessel being filled with water and the water then suddenly pours out of the top of the stand pipe then you have a partial blockage somewhere in the stand pipe. It's almost always in a 90 or 45 degree bend connector.
