Hi there. Just changed the heating element on a Hoover hnwl7136 washer dryer but it is still not heating up the water. Any ideas of what it could be?

Is it giving an error code? Is it completing the cycle?

Even the basic washers should give an error code, usually by flashing certain lights. If it's a Nextra model the pause and start LEDs should flash together a set number of times. 5 times is for "NTC/Heater fault"

If it doesn't have any error code system in place then it would normally stick on wash if the heater isn't working. Is it completing the cycle in normal time and cleaning the clothes? What are the symptoms?

It's a basic model so I don't get an error code. It's does a full wash. I check the old heating element and had to change it as there was no current going through It. New ones is fitted and still not working? Or and I had a read of the links before I posted on here. Didnt seem to help
