Hotpoint Aquarius Wd440 And White Marks On Washing
We have a Hotpoint Aquarius WD440 Washer/Dryer, and for the last few months our washing has had white marks on it.
We use a liquid detergent, which is placed in a cap and placed on the washing.
Did think it maybe calcium, but we live in Devon, which is a soft water area
.
Any ideas worried that a new machine may not solve the problem.
Thanks.

Sorry, all my thoughts are in the article. Did you see the bit about gunge causing marks? many people who use liquid detergent (which has no bleaching agents) end up with a lot of grease, gunge and slime inside their machines which can get on clothes.

Thanks for your reply, but we use a liquid detergent which goes straight into the machine, also we don't think the machine is overloaded, any other ideas that may help?
