Miele W807 Pumps In Water, Then Stops

Modern washing machines should fill up quickly because they are cold fill and hardly use any water. A couple of minutes should easily see it finished and off washing. If a light is flashing see if you can count any flash cycles which might be indicating an error code. Can you see the water in the drum? If it fills but the water doesn't rise inside the drum and it's getting a proper flow of water the water must be going somewhere.

About how long time should it take for the washing machine to fill up with water and start spinning? Because now it seems like it's filling with water for minutes before it decides to do anything else. The water can't be siphoning out because the draining is above the drum.

Unfortunately it could be a number of things but here's a few things to check - If water is going into the machine but the water level in the drum doesn't rise much it's possible the water could be siphoning down the drain, especially if it's been moved recently

Other than that if it fills up and stops filling but the drum doesn't turn so the laundry just sits in the water there could be a problem with the motor or its supply - drum doesn't turn.

The inlet water hose and filter is clean and the water is flooding into the machine without any issues. I opened up the lid of the machine and measured the resistance of every solenoid, they all have 3.73 kΩ. I did unscrew the solenoid and removed and cleaned all the hoses that connected to it, and after that the machine washed properly about 2-3 times. http://i.imgur.com/NUPSSNO.jpg

I am sure that when I tried to wash yesterday I could hear the machine getting filled with water and I also looked through the window and saw that a portion of the bottom half of the drum was filled with water.

Today when I tried to wash, I heard that the machine was getting filled with water and made one short spin, then it just sat there filling with more and more water for about a minute. I couldn't see any water getting into the drum, but I could hear it. After a minute the red "PC Control" LED started flashing rapidly and the machine started to pump out the water and then do nothing at all.

Also, it's not fetching the cleaning powder properly. The cleaning powder is very cloggy and moist so there has defenitely been water there trying to flush it, but I guess it hasn't been enough water: http://imgur.com/Y1rzAqH
