Disconnecting Old Washing Machine

Hi, while trying to disconnect my old washing machine i cant seem to fully shut off the valve on the cold tap and water is still trickling out the pipe also i can't loosen the old hot and cold hoses from under the sink.

If the tap has gone faulty it may no longer shut off properly but removing the plastic lever and turning it tightly shut with some pliers may work. Other than that you'd need to get the tap replaced. You may need pipe pliers to undo the fill hoses if they've been fitted too tightly but you may also need some pipe pliers or mawl grips to hold the tap to stop it turning.
