Stops Mid Cycle

We bought a Samsung WA48H7400A and trying to figure out what we are doing wrong. Occasionally, the load will get to spin cycle and will sit there indefinitely. It sounds like the drum is draining, but it never spins. This has happened approximately 4 out 20 of the last loads. This last time, it sat overnight and was stuck at 11 minutes to go in the cycle. I can't figure out what is causing this. These loads are clothing that don't fill half of the drum. Any help is appreciated.

Yes that's what I would advise first, check my article here - Washing machine won’t spin just one item or very small loads

I'm not sure this will help but here goes. I have a top loader and it stops when it's out of balance, usually with towels but also with clothing. If it's out of balance then the tub can't spin correctly and the machine will stop. I've had the problem maybe 4 times and each time I have to try to redistribute the items in the tub. Eventually everything works out.
