Folks,

Hi, I'm new to this forum... thanks for any help!

I've just heard about a fault with my sister's Indesit washing machine. I haven't yet seen it, and don't even know the model number...

However a quick bit of research seems to indicate that it's probably a pump fault.. (F - 05), and water remains in the machine.

Now I realise that it could be something else, but I have a simple question...

If manage to fix it, either by unblocking pipework, or, if necessary, replacing the pump, do I need to somehow "Reset" so the error code is no longer displayed? If so, how?

Many thanks in advance,

Regards,

Simsy

If the fault is cleared the error code should disappear. Related advice not pumping out water
