i left a coin in a pocket now when it does final spin it sounds like it is loose in the drum but after it stops its not in the drum, not in the water filter, not in door insulation

any ideas ?

Coins normally get stuck between the outer drum and the inner drum. Most outer drums are now made of plastic. So a coin can get punched right through the outer drum, or hit it hard enough to crack it. If this happens the washing machine is likely to be fatally damaged.

thanks andy. instruction leaflet does not give any idea if there is a way of opening it up and getting to the part between drums to get coin out.any ideas on this ? please
