Pipe from under washer is showing
Hi i have had to move my beko washer a few times and have noticed a pipe with a light blue plastic plug in the end sticking from under the washer which i think i must of caught upon moving washing and was wanting to know if its meant to be in a upright position under washer ? The plug is still firmly on and reading some of these posts now know its a beko stopper plug i've had trouble with washer not draining properly and wounderd if this is the cause? .

Beko washer drain hose with blue stopper found hanging underneath
- The problem
- After moving the washing machine, a small hose with a light blue plastic plug was found sticking out from underneath. The owner was concerned it should be positioned upright under the washer and wondered if it could be related to poor draining.
- Likely cause
- The discussion supports that this is the pump draining tube with its stopper, which is normally stowed next to the pump filter behind the lower front flap, cover or kick strip. The poor draining fault was mentioned by the owner, but the thread does not confirm that this hose position caused it.
- What fixed it
- The accepted advice was that the hose should be stowed next to the pump filter behind the front pump flap/cover or lower kick strip, rather than fitted back underneath the base. No further repair or drainage fault fix was confirmed.
- Checks to try
- Confirmed the light blue stopper was still firmly fitted on the hose
- Advised to check behind the pump filter flap, cover or kick strip at the lower front of the machine
- Identified the hose as the pump draining tube normally stored next to the pump filter
- Parts or tools mentioned
- Pump draining tube
- Blue stopper plug
- Pump filter flap/cover or kick strip

It sounds like the pump draining tube which would normally be stowed behind the pump flap or cover.

Ah right i thought i would have to lift washer and fit it back to the bottom somewhere so am guessing i lift the front flap and it fits there haha thankyou very much i really haven't a clue with washers .
I'm not sure how out of place this hose is. It should be right next to the pump filter. Either behind a pump filter cover or flap. Or sometimes behind the kick strip at the front of the washing machine down at the bottom. Here is a picture of a pump filter with a draining hose at the side. It may be different to yours, but it gives an idea of how close it should be to the pump.
