Why does washer take 2 hours to wash?
Hi I have just gotten a new Indesit IWDC6125 was her dryer and the shortest cycle I can find is 2 hours without dryer. i can’t cope with each wash taking two hours. Can anyone recommend a quicker wash cycle?

All modern washing machines take twice as long to wash as they used to. It’s because they use a lot less water and electricity. Some may have a “quick” wash but they don’t wash properly unless the laundry is hardly dirty to start with.
You could try using option buttons to reduce the time, but if laundry needs a proper wash, you need to use the right wash cycle or it just will not wash them properly. Modern washing machine cycles are designed to take this amount of time to wash properly and economically.
