Filter stuck

hi
i bought a candy grand vista washing machine 3 months ago I've tried to clean the filter out only to find that it has been pushed upwards from underneath I'm assuming that when it was delivered it must of happened then when it was wheeled in on there trolly. There is no way this can be opened any suggestions please.the repair man says there's nothing he can do as he can't bend metal..yes he was helpful NOT.

I would ask the retailer to replace it. If it cannot be repaired it needs replacing.
