LG WM1832CW washer water floods out from the bottom of the washer

My LG WM1832CW washer is probably already over 10 years old. But I have been having a persistent problem for years. I cannot use the Delicates or Hand wash cycles, as whenever I do, water floods out from the bottom of the washer . I think this is coming from the center front underneath part of the machine, somewhere to the right of the drain filter on the left side of the machine. But water pours out during the wash cycle as well as the rinse and drain cycles.

This doesn't happen wihen I wash clothes with the other cycles - normal heavy, extra time, etc. - just with delicates and handwash cycles. Any help would be appreciated!

That's very weird Sandy. Th eonly thing I can think of is that those wash cycles have a higher level of water and there is a hole or crack somewhere high up the door seal or the outer drum. During the other cycles the water may not get up there. Other than that if it's a normal leak it should leak on every washy cycle. Another possibility is that it does leak on every cycle but just a lot worse on those cycles.
