Samsung WF70F5EDW4X will not drain.
I was doing a small load when my washing machine had shown a 5UD error message. I let it be as I read it could be the excess detergent. It didn't clear up and had now shown a 5E error message. I drained the water out using the emergency drain pipe and cleaned the filter. I then ran a 95°C cotton cycle as standard self clean advised by Samsung. Same thing happened it did not drain. I removed the water using the emergency pipe again and left it for a day.
The next day, water have accumulated inside the drum which smelt bad. I tried looking into the filter again and a lot of foul smelling grime have accumulated and I had a look at the drain hose at the back to see if there's a lot of accumulated grime. I poured some water into the hose and more grime came out. I did this until no more grime came out. I then did a 95°C cotton cycle as a self clean. It still did not drain but now the emergency pipe does not drain the water as well as it used to.
Any advice or should I just throw in the towel and call for a professional?

I have a few Samsung washing machine error codes but none mention 5UD. Error 5E though is listed as, "No Drain". From your description it sounds like the washing machine could be really bunged up with grease and limescale. Sometimes doing a boil wash can loosen a lot of it and make matters worse. Check the pump filter again, and if it pumps out into a u-bend disconnect it at the sink and check inside the drain hose and inside the u-bend for gunk. The emergency drain pipe might be bunged up now too. Try shoving something appropriate down it.
