Hoover Washing Machine Won't Start. Flashing lights. Pattern not listed in manual. Still beeps.
I have already read through the washing machine common faults help guide
Hello, my Hoover Dynamic Next DXCC69W3 9Kg Washing Machine (4 years old) has suddenly stopped working. The display only shows rotating blinking lights on the display.
When looking up error codes, I expected to see E1, E2, etc as per the manual but there are no letters. I don't see any pattern in the flashing lights either.
When changing settings, it still beeps.
The washer information is here: https://service.hoover.co.uk/advice-centre/washing-machines/dxc-c69w3/
The manual is here: https://service.hoover.co.uk/manuals/DXC-Models.pdf
Here is a short video showing the issue. https://youtu.be/q-tWEoGftSc
Do you have any advice?
Thanks.

This thread was marked as solved. Here's a summary of the problem and the fix, generated from the discussion below.
Hoover Dynamic Next DXCC69W3 shows rotating flashing lights and will not start
- The problem
- A Hoover Dynamic Next DXCC69W3 washing machine, about 4 years old, suddenly would not start. The display showed rotating flashing lights rather than a normal fault code, and the machine still beeped when settings were changed.
- Likely cause
- The accepted reply says all lights flashing usually indicates a general system fault rather than a listed user fault code. Possible causes mentioned were a system crash, a fault on the PCB or control panel, or a communication fault between them. A drain fault was mentioned only as something seen on a different machine, not confirmed for this model.
- What fixed it
- No specific DIY repair was confirmed. The accepted advice was that this is not an easy DIY fix. Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.
- Checks to try
- Confirmed there were no E1, E2 or similar lettered fault codes shown
- Display showed rotating flashing lights
- Machine still beeped when settings were changed
- Manual apparently did not list this flashing-light behaviour
Safety: Further diagnosis should be carried out by a suitably qualified appliance engineer.

Normally, when all lights are flashing it means something has gone wrong with the system and it's gone a bit crazy. But a friend of mine had a washing machine where it said in the instruction manual that all lights flashing meant it hadn't drained the water out.
If it doesn't say something about all lights flashing in the manual then it's something the manufacturers haven't expected. It could be something like a system crash, or fault on the PCB or control panel, or a communication error between them. Not something with an easy diy fix.
