Mr Alan Stockdale
I have a Bosch series 6 WVG30461GB/02
Not drying clothes, coming out hot and steamy. There is no water coming from the condensor water valve which is brand new. I have tested for current to the valve and it seems dead.
Thanks for any help.

Hello Alan. I’ve written advice about this fault in my repair help page on Whitegoodshelp - Laundry hot and steam after drying in washer dryer

Definitely not. PCBs are usually very expensive and it's too much to gamble on a speculative (fingers crossed) repair. One option could be to send it to QER electronics.
Water valves have a very high resistance. Check it against the others that clearly do work. To test continuity of a water valve solenoid you may have to adjust the dial on a meter to a higher range. If the heater is working. and the fan is running and not blocked, then it has to be either no water going into the condenser or condensed water not running into the drum at the bottom of the condenser chamber.

Thank you for the advice I have cleaned everything so there are no blockages anywhere and all the water valves were replaced with new ones. When I start the drying cycle I take off the pipe going to the condenser and no water comes out. I have taken the cable off of the condenser water valve but cannot get a reading from the meter at all.
I am now at a loss as to why there is no power to this valve at the start of dry. I am now wondering if it might be worth changing the Control PCB.
Thank again for any help
