AEG 6000 series lavamat spin noise
I've read the help files and listened to the spin noises, plus a few spin noise on other topics, doesn't quite sound like mine.
The machine is 2 years and 9 months old.
Here's a video of the noise. Quite simply - is this the bearing going/gone?

Yikes that sounds nasty. It doesn't sound like drum bearings, which normally have a rumbling sound - What do noisy drum bearings sound like?
It sounds metallic. As an engineer the first thing I would do would be to make sure the motor and/or drum pulley and catching on anything at the back. Then I would take off the back panel and remove the drive belt. Making sure the belt is not tangling on the drum pulley I would then go to the front of the machine and spin the drum by hand as fast as possible to see what the drum bearings sound like. I would also lift the drum up and down all the way around its circumference in case one of the drum spiders is cracked and there is excessive play at some point around the drum.
I would also consider running the motor on its own. Again making sure the drive belt isn't going to catch on it. If it is the motor causing this noise it should be obvious when the motor runs on its own. The problem is when it is spinning normally the motor and the drum and the bearings are all in play so you need to use process of elimination.
Another thing to check is that the drum pulley at the back where the belt fits around isn't loose. Finally my 2 comprehensive articles should help troubleshoot further -
