waching machine metallic noise
Hi everyone,

What is weird to me, is that it's making the sound even when the drum is not turning, at 12 seconds into the video.
I am wondering if I found the right guide - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNfuu2MCSpY. Do you think this is the real problem?

Hello Vale. No, it sounds like there is something fairly light but metallic stuck inside the water pump. Check out my article here How to clean filter and remove obstruction from pump

Andy you were correct, it was a small screw like object. Looks like I will have to be more accurate next time.

Yes it sounds light. Like a necklace chain or something. The problem with light things is they can go into the sump hose or drain hose when you try to find them.

I cleaned the water pump yesterday, but I didn't check the sump hose. I will double check today afternoon and report back in the evening.
