LG Washer displaying an tE error
Hi All, Greetings from Sri Lanka.!!!
I'm a newbie for this forum joined here to seek your good advice.
My Washing Machine "LG FC1408S3E"
Initially, it displayed an error "tE" which was deemed to be a thermistor error related to heating.
A local repair guy thought it was a door error and messed up with the door switch which lead me to replace the door switch.
However, After replacing the door switch the tE error was disappeared and the washer was back to normal for a month.
Now again I'm seeing this error "tE" Could you guys could kindly advise me on how I could get this problem fixed?
Appreciate your support. I have attached a video and an error diagnosed by the Application.
Thank you and have a great day!!

Hello there. Unfortunately error codes are not 100% reliable, but at the end of the day we have to do trust what they say until it is proven to be incorrect, which is rare but it can happen. "A defect in the function which detects the temperature inside the product" could well be a thermistor but it could also be something else such as a connection fault somewhere in the thermistor circuit or even potentially a fault inside the PCB. However, with this error code the sensible thing would be to check all of the connections to the thermistor and if nothing is found replace the thermistor.
Only then can you have eliminated the main suspect indicated by the error code.
