Washing machine keeps turning at end of cycle...what's happening?

Hi, hope someone can help or advise with this.

Our Beko WTIK74111 washer completes a programmed cycle, but continues to turn the drum until a button is pressed (for hours after the cycle is programmed). This happens regardless of the type of programmed cycle.

Is this supposed to happen? Or is there something wrong with it?

Hi. This sounds like what's called crease guard. It may or may not be able to be turned off. Have a look for it in the instruction manual.

The idea is that if you put laundry in for a wash, and then don't take it out of the drum for hours after finishing, then laundry can become badly creased. So turning the drum every so often prevents this.
