Washing Machines In Multi Storey Flats low water pressure?
I live on the 23rd floor of a tower block and have recently had my flat refurbished. The housing association have put in connections for a washing machine.
Is is worthwhile getting one installed given how high up my flat is? Will I suffer endless problems with low water pressure? Anyone with any experience of this matter would be most welcome to comment.

If anyone has had experience it would be nice to hear their comments but my thoughts are, if it's unsuibtable for a washing machine they presumably wouldn't have installed plumbing for one so it ought to work OK or I'd complain. Hopefully a friendly neighbour could let you know how they manage. If you don't know anyone it might be a nice ice breaker to ask.

Unfortunately that's no loner the case edd. I wrote an article explaining the problem a while back. If the washing machine doesn't take in enough water within a strict time period most will now abort the wash with an error code - Low water pressure and washing machines

If water comes out your taps, it is adequate for a washing machine. It simply takes in water until the required level is reached. If the pressure is low, it will simply take a little longer to fill.
When it comes to water mains in blocks of flats, they usually have a separate feed for each floor, to keep the pressure high enough. Otherwise, if everyone took a shower at the same time, there would be just a drizzle.
I lived on a 15th floor many years ago and some maintenance work had to be done to the water supply. Each floor was done at a time.
