Washing Machine stops on long cycles
HI,
We have a Indesit Innex Washer Dryer,
We dont use the Dryer side (takes too long)
Just on the cycles that are more than an hour about 20 mins in to the Cycle the Error code come up F01 and flashing lights.
With some research Indesit say switch off, then after 2 minutes , restart.
But back to the error code.
Also have tried the Clean Cycle, very strangely it filled up with foam!
45 min Quick cycle works fine along with rinse and spin options.
Have checked the pump, all fine there.
Just cant get past the Error code!
Any help very Welcome!

Hello there. When you said you found that the advice for the error code F01 was to turn it off two minutes, did that advice also state what the fault was caused by?
All mentions of F01 that I (and I have to admit my information is quite old now), say that F01 is a fault on the motor triac, and could because by a motor fault, poor connection fault, or a fault on the chip inside the PCB. Maybe the "turn it off for two minutes" advice is based around a suspect that something is overheating. But if this was the case you'd need a lot longer than two minutes for it to cool down. It doesn't sound like something you could try to fix yourself.

Does it stop when it’s fully drained or does it stop as soon as it starts draining or half way through? If it stops after it’s fully drained, then does it run on for a minute or so after the water has gone before stopping?
listen out, and you can hear the water going down the drain, and can hear when it has pumped out the water because the noise of the pump changes as it starts pumping air.

And it fills up and drains fine! its just when the machine about 25 mins into wash uses the drain, thats when it stops!

On the cycle we use the most, it trips out exactly at the same point!
Its about 20 mins into wash, then it goes for a drain, thats when it trips!
Also washing Machine is only 2 years old
