Indesit Widl 126 No Heat On Drying Cycle

Hi,

I've got an Indesit washer dryer, model WIDL 126 which is lacking heat on its drying cycle. I'm pretty sure it's a build up of fluff in the air intake tub, I have removed everyting I can get from the top but there is still a good amount in there but I have no idea how to get to this.

Can anyone enlighten me/give me a verbal walkthrough?

Many thanks!

-James

A common fault on those are the thermal overload cut-out blowing, which is on top of the dryer housing. If it's gone open circuit you'll get no heat on dry. They can blow because of too much laundry on dryer setting, switching the dryer off before it's completed the 10 minute cooling down period at the end or another fault such as the fan motor not running, the trickle of cold water running into the condenser chamber stopping or a blockage somewhere. They can even go for no apparent reason. Never bypass one as doing so could cause it to catch fire sometime in the future.
