Drum load Capacity question
Hi I've just bought a Beko with a 7kg load capacity but can it really take that much? I've weighed my load (sad I know) it was 5kg and can only just get it all in.
Thanks

Some manufacturers claim specific load capacities but don't include the space the door glass takes up or use some other dodgy method to claim the drum capacity. Miele drum capacity sizes are the most accurate. There are likely to be differences in the amount of washing you can fit into a 7Kg drum from manufacturer to manufacturer with (I suspect) the cheaper ones likely to have the least true capacity.
A true 7Kg capacity such as in the now obsolete Dyson washing machine can fit a massive load in (note the Dyson had a very shallow door glass which didn't infringe on the drum capacity).
What’s the difference between drum sizes in washing machines?
