Washer doing different amounts of rinse cycles
I have a New Bosche VarioPerfect Waq283S0Gb washing machine and am delighted with how clean it washes, but perplexed at how the rinse cycles work.
First time I used the Cottons 60 deg wash, I was sure it only did 2 rinse cycles. I was expecting three which it did on the 40 deg easy care setting. I have just run the 60 deg wash again using aqua plus and was expecting it to do three rinses plus the extra one. However watching the water go in the drawer the third rinse went in the softener section and that was the last rinse.
Does anyone have this machine and know how this system works.
Many thanks Jay
PS Ran the 30 deg easy care and it ran the three rinses.

This model has water saving technology so it probably senses how soapy the rinse water is and adjusts water usage accordingly.

Hi Jay,
Not the same machine, but it's possible that the programming could be similar.
The current Miele machines do 2 rinses as standard on all cycles set to 60 degrees or above. The theory is that hotter washing requires less detergent and therefore less rinsing. Using extra rinse on these cycles should increase them to 3 rinses (2 standard and 1 conditioner rinse. Conditioner is dispensed in the final rinse on all machines).
Hope this helps.

Hi Back again . I have just run the 40 deg easy care cycle and when it got to the empty wash water it spun out then started the rinse cycle but the wash was on and flashing with the rinse light. I did this once before and I thought it might be a fluke but not so
Thanks Jay
