Can you say what the error codes E3, E4, E5 & E6 on my Hoover new wave mean? I get E5 intermittently on my washing machine.

There isn't an E3 or E6 error code for the Hoover New Wave washing machine. E5 in the display is, "an open circuit tacho coil (or wiring)" which should read 70 Ohms. The tacho coil is on the motor. If you are only getting it intermnittently though, I'd be tempted not to start disturbing things unless it gets worse.

Error code E4 is something to do with motor current being exceded but I've never actually seen this.

NOTE for anyone researching washing machine error codes: Error codes are usually quite different across models and ranges so these particular error codes are only applicable to the Hoover New wave machines.
