Hey all,
Our washing machine has been making this cracking/scraping weird noise while on cycle as in the video. I've tried:
- removing plastic bits inside the drum and checked for metal bra wires/anything else - nothing there
- removed cover at back and tried spinning it many times as fast as possible
- shaking it from all directions
Checked pretty much everything I could find in advice online and can't replicate the sound at all when it's off.
Any ideas?

Hi. As an engineer I would disconnect from mains electricity and with the back panel and lid off hunt around for something loose or evidence of the motor or drum catching on something first. Shake and bounce the drum around to see if you can locate it. After that you have to just run it with the back and lid off and listen for and locate the noise source.
