Hi.

My Bosch Maxx 6 is full of water and won't drain. I took the front cover off and can't find an emergency drain pipe. Am I missing something here?

It is full of water and I can't move it. How do I drain it? I'm scared of unscrewing this cap in case water pours out.

I can't find anything at all on Google for this model.

Please see picture of model and cover cap removed.

Thanks.

Hi Warren. It looks like your washing machine isn't fitted with the emergency draining hose. It is not a standard thing to have fitted, and historically only some brands have them fitted, although funnily enough Bosch is one of them. They probably have left it out to save production costs.

There will still be quite a lot of water inside the washing machine. I would estimate possibly half a washing-up bowlful. Read my article on whitegoodshelp which covers this situation in good detail How to drain a washing machine full of water

Hi all.

I managed to drain the water out of the drum with a tube and a tray on the floor using the old suction method to get it going.

Please see picture.

How much water is now left in the machine if I unscrew the filter cap? Will a few towels catch the water that is left?

Thanks.
